Timetabling Mate was founded by practitioners who spent years inside Australian secondary colleges before moving into consultancy. We know what a timetable looks like from the inside — and we know what it costs when it goes wrong.
Our story
Built by timetablers, for timetablers
Timetabling Mate grew out of a simple frustration: the tools and consultants available to Australian secondary schools were either too generic, too software-focused, or too removed from the realities of the classroom. Schools were being sold software licences when what they needed was expertise.
Our founders spent a combined 30 years working as curriculum coordinators, timetablers, and school leaders in Victorian, New South Wales, and Queensland secondary colleges. They built timetables for schools of every size — from 300-student rural campuses to 2,000-student metropolitan colleges — and they learned what works and what does not.
Timetabling Mate was established to offer something different: a genuinely expert, hands-on consultancy that treats every school as a unique problem to be solved, not a template to be filled.
